I think most of my posts are going to come in bursts when I can get access to the Internet, so I recommend scrolling down to the last one you read, and reading them in chronological order (up the page).
Also, if you’ve never commented before, your comment has to be approved by me, so if it doesn’t appear right away, wait until I post next to worry about it. I approve all valid (non spam) comments at the same time I post. If you do double-post, I’ll just delete one of them.

Wow! Sounds like you’re getting a hang of it all. I’m proud of you. Now you’ll know some of what I grew up with (all the freaky sounds animals make at night; outhouses, and a lot more…). You’re lucky you don’t have mice and/or rats in the sultan house. They can make noises too and those are freaky as well. Or how about seeing a mouse run through the room? : )
This is very good prep for you in case we really do get to travel to Ukraine. : )
