I’ve been back from Darfur for almost exactly a month, so I think it’s time I move this blog on to another topic. So if you’re just interested in my trip to Darfur, you can stop reading now. From now on my blog entries will be more about my thoughts on technology and other mysteries of the universe.

I think most of my posts are going to come in bursts when I can get access to the Internet, so I recommend scrolling down to the last one you read, and reading them in chronological order (up the page).
Also, if you’ve never commented before, your comment has to be approved by me, so if it doesn’t appear right away, wait until I post next to worry about it. I approve all valid (non spam) comments at the same time I post. If you do double-post, I’ll just delete one of them.

I figure since the government is already watching my every move anyway, I might as well share that info with the world. No reason T.H.E.Y. should have a monopoly on my exact location.
So, besides my regular blog postings from the other side of the world, I’ll also try to Twitter as often as possible/realistic and if those both fail me (due to lack of electricity or connectivity) then at least you’ll know where I Plan to be. Note the link to my Itinerary at the top of the screen.

Ok, yes, I put ads on my blog. Don’t worry, it’s not about making money, it’s more of an experiment for my other blog, which I will now shamelessly plug:
theFundless is a blog for IT professionals in non-profit organizations or other under-funded IT departments. Ben (my co-author over there) and I will be posting bits of our vast experience in this realm.
<end massive misuse of podium here>

Yes, welcome to the new www.EpikThoughts.com
I figured if I was going to move to my own server, I should probably do it before I announced the old address to everyone.
